St. Louis (MO) Firefighters Contain Two-Alarm Fire at Deli

Fire photographer Dave Dubowski shared some photos from a two-alarm fire that torched the Macklind Avenue Deli on the far southwest side of St. Louis, Missouri.

First-due still companies had heavy fire showing on arrival and requested the first alarm. An interior attack was made but was abandoned because of quickly deteriorating conditions. A second alarm was struck shortly after. Two firefighters were injured in the fire. According to Dubowski’s report, fireworks are suspected as the cause.
