A two alarm fire tore through a house Thursday night on Staten Island (NY), sending seven firefighters to the hospital, reports NY 1.
The fire is being considered suspicious.
“On arrival, there was a heavy fire condition on the second floor, extended into the third floor,” Battalion Chief Don Murphy said. “We had a second alarm transmitted. We had 25 units, 105 firefighters on the scene. It was an occupied building. No one was home at the time of the fire.”
