Tactical Strength Conditioning

Lead Instructor: Firefighter Matthew Zimpfer, Fire Department of New York

This clinic takes participants through a hands-on learning experience into evidenced-based research and proven training methods. The hands-on portion will consist of four sections: (1) Comprehensive Evaluation and Injury Prevention Strategies, (2) Strength and Power Development, (3) Energy Systems Training, and (4) Nutrition and Supplementation. Each section will include lecture and hands-on training. In addition, participants will receive a copy of the presentation to add to their training toolbox. The hands-on segment is based on WarriorFit Performance’s philosophy, research, and training methodology. The presentation will allow firefighters and training personnel to increase their knowledge base of the highly researched tactical strength and conditioning field. Furthermore, attendees will be able to apply the evidenced-based training methodologies in a safe and effective manner. ALL LEVELS
