We will review conducting needs analysis for the training program and how to be effective in implementing a needs-based training program that meets the individual, company, and organizational needs for success. We will review the roles of NFPA and ISO and how they play into training and training programs. We will look at how to develop a training program using the Assess, Plan, Implement, and Evaluate model. We will also look at what’s new in 2024 and what we should be training on given our industry’s historical data. We will conclude with looking at tools, adjuncts, and methods to be successful and relevant as a fire instructor.
