PennWell Corporation announces the strategic partnership between PennWell’s TAK-Response California Conference and Exhibition and San Francisco Paramedic Association.
Embracing the theme “When Seconds Count…,” TAK-Response California will provide real-time, threat-based training for law enforcement, fire service, EMS/Medical, Homeland Security and other disaster communities. The San Francisco Paramedic Association’s involvement with TAK-Response includes its participation in the development of conference sessions and the recruitment of top industry speakers. This partnership will ensure timely and relevant training sessions at TAK-Response to prepare the EMS and Medical first responder communities for potential catastrophic events.
“As with other partners involved with this conference, we believe that an “all hazards” response requires an interdisciplinary effort. Hosting an event that allows responders from police, fire, EMS and disaster management to learn together is a natural extension of that philosophy,” said Mr. Arthur Hsieh, CEO and Education Director for the San Francisco Paramedic Association.
TAK-Response California Conference and Exhibition was developed in conjunction with numerous leading industry groups and associations to deliver training sessions, speakers and an exhibition of products and services to prepare all first responder communities for their mission to prevent loss of life in catastrophic situations.
“This strategic partnership will allow TAK-Response to better serve the EMS/Medical communities with pertinent and up-to-date training sessions. The participation of the San Francisco Paramedic Association is key to our mission of providing the courageous individuals on the front lines of disaster with life-saving information,” said Mr. Eric Schlett, Vice President of PennWell’s Emergency Response Division.
TAK-Response California’s inaugural event will be held September 14 – 16, 2010 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California.
