Tallahassee (FL) Firefighter Faces Charges in Testing Case

A Tallahassee (FL) firefighter is facing fraud charges for allegedly providing answers on state fire tests to students.

The Tallahassee Democrat (http://on.tdo.com/1qSPzOB) reported that Lieutenant Matthew Schlossman, 36, turned himself in Friday on 17 counts of fraud for each course he taught from July 2011 to June 2013.

Court documents say he’s accused of giving grades to students who never did any course work and conducting classes online rather than in a classroom.

Schlossman, who has been with the department for about a decade, is reportedly on administrative leave with pay for the next 30 days.
