Teen Dies, Two Hospitalized After NJ House Fire

According to a report from ABC7, fire officials announced that a 16-year-old male died in a house fire in Midland Park, New Jersey, early Thursday evening.

Midland Park Fire Department crews discovered the teen at around 6:30 p.m. after the fire broke out in the home on Franklin Avenue.

As first responders worked to extinguish the fire, the boy was found on the first floor. Two other residents were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of this fire.
