Thanks to Bill Manning for addressing an issue that has come up very often at regional mutual-aid meetings, chiefs meetings, and training seminars I have attended. Thank God for heroes like Dan Santos. I agree completely that we must do the job as safely as possible, but we MUST DO THE JOB. Thanks for a well-written tribute to the firefighters and officers who still believe this to be so.
