Danko Emergency Equipment Co. is a family owned business manufacturing and selling high quality fire fighting, and emergency vehicles to fire departments, rural fire districts and governmental entities. The manufactured vehicles include Tankers, Tanker/Pumpers, Quick Attacks, Rescue Trucks, Brush Slip in Unit Trucks, all terrain Unimog Chassis with mounted Fire, Rescue and Air Port Units and other specialty vehicles. “We service what we sell” as we are aware of the needs of our customers in keeping our emergency equipment ready for use. Our customer base is covered in the Midwest by the use of local field sales employees, while the rest of the United States and Foreign Countries are covered by our network of Dealers and our inside sales force. Currently, Danko employs over 30 personnel, with the corporate office located in Snyder, Nebraska. Our Company size affords us the opportunity to produce a high quality product with attention to detail in all stages of the manufacturing process. Our Sales force is courteous and knowledgeable not only in the mechanics of our equipment but the ever changing needs of the Fire Service itself. We listen to the needs of our customers and make every effort to meet their needs while still managing to stay within their budgetary restraints. Danko has the engineering expertise to manufacture the “specialty” apparatus to fit the ever growing needs for Fire suppression equipment.

Danko has recently recommitted its dedication to the Fire Service by building a new thirty five thousand square foot building and equipping it with the latest in manufacturing technology. Danko has also made significant contributions to our community and the communities of our valued customers.
