Three-Alarm Fire Causes Millions in Damage at UT Apartment Complex

Firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire Wednesday that caused millions of dollars worth of damage at an apartment complex under construction in the community of Millcreek, Utah.

KSL.com reported that crews responded to the scene at 1297 E. Miller Ave. shortly before 6 p.m. on June 16, 2021. One woman reportedly sustained minor injuries.

The damage was expected to be a $15 million to $20 million loss, the report said, with about 14 businesses impacted. Video from the fire showed massive flames tearing through the structure.
