Three Burned in San Diego Hotel Drug Lab Explosion

Three people were burned when a hotel room drug lab exploded in San Diego, reports USA Today.

KGTV reported that authorities believe crystal methamphetamine was being “cooked” and smoked inside the room. The blast blew out one interior wall, and black smoke and flames were seen coming from the roof of the three-story structure.

The victims had burns “all over their bodies,” said a San Diego fire department spokesman. At least one person was hospitalized.

KSWB-TV (Fox 5) said two men and a woman were injured.
