Three Children Die in OK House Fire

According to a report from KFOR, a house fire in Crescent, Oklahoma, near the intersection of Jackson Street and Oak Street, killed three young children Sunday afternoon, said Crescent Fire Department Chief Josh Rollins.

Rollins said the fire erupted in a small structure near the house, with the flames spreading to the home, fully engulfing it. He continued, saying the home was a total loss.

The ages of the three children have yet to be confirmed. However, a neighbor confirmed all three were young.

The children’s mother was home at the time of the fire, according to Rollins. She was taken to a nearby church to help console her.

The Oklahoma State Fire Marshal is now investigating.
