Three people were killed last week in a structure fire in Jennings County, Indiana, according to news sources.
Firefighters responded early last Tuesday, January 24, 2023, to a fire at a 144-year-old, two-story brick farmhouse in North Vernon, Columbia Township, according to therepublic.com.
The house was reportedly completely engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived on scene, according to the report, and the fire caused a structural collapse.
Three people died of smoke inhalation, the Jennings County coroner said.
