Three Firefighters Hospitalized, Dozens Displaced After Three-Alarm DE Apartment Complex Fire


Three firefighters were sent to the hospital and 52 residents were relocated to area hotels after a three-alarm fire in Bear ripped through an apartment complex Monday evening, according to a report from

Chief Deputy Robert Fox, a spokesman with the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office, said crews responded to the 1200 block of Barrett Lane in the Village of Barrett Run Apartments after a report of the incident was received at about 7 p.m.

Three firefighters were rushed to Christiana Hospital with minor injuries.
