Three firefighters sustained minor injuries while responding to a two-alarm fire at a commercial building in Queens on Saturday, according to the FDNY.
The blaze broke out shortly before 11 a.m. at 62-16 Woodhaven Blvd, in Rego Park, prompting a response from 106 fire and EMS personnel, CBS New York reports. The fire was brought under control by 12:16 p.m.
The injured firefighters were transported to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the FDNY reported.
