Three people were killed in an overnight fire in a mobile home in the city of Martinsville, Indiana, according to reports.
According to a report on CBS Chicago, the Martinsville Fire Department said crews were dispatched to a mobile home park near State Road 37 early Wednesday. They found one mobile home fully engulfed in flames.
According to FOX 59, Martinsville Deputy Fire Chief Charlie Fraker said bitterly cold temperatures made operations difficult. The fire occurred as a period of intense cold swept across the Midwest and East Coast, leaving some areas blanketed with a early layer of snow.
WTHR said all the victims were adults—one male and two female. No firefighters were reportedly injured.
