“In reference to last night’s WTC Documentary, I believe it was done very tastefully. Being a Firefighter for the FDNY and having lost my father who was the Captain of Ladder Co. #2, I thought it showed just how brave the ‘brothers’ were that day. I think most people are now happy it was shown on television because it explained many unanswered questions.”

“Yes. The documentary was handled very appropriately and tastefully. As a professional firefighter, myself, my wife, and my crew were very critical of the video. It brought many a tear and prayer from us all. I commend CBS for airing it and the filmmakers who brought it to us all. To our fallen brothers in NY, we salute you. 9-11 will forever be emblazoned on our hearts and souls as a day to honor you all.”

“Yes. I think it was a very well done documentary because it showed it through the eyes of the men that were there with no sugar coating added to it not
through a newscaster from the outside.”

“Yes. I am a firefighter in Greenville S.C. It had to be told just like it happened. I have been in many dangerous situations, but none like the WTC. I hope
if that time comes, I can face it with the same heart and mindset as all of those firefighters did in New York.”

“Yes. I was very impressed with the quality of the show. I thought it was not only informative and insightful but tastefully done. It showed what really happened as it happened but was not so descriptive and raw as to outright offend or disgust anyone. Nice job.”

“Yes. They were very careful to make sure all scenes too graphic were deleted, and they made it with the consent of Enginge 7, Ladder 1. This was made to honor our fellow brothers and sisters and that’s what it did.”

“Yes. I thought the show was quite honoring and respectful to the NYFD. The entire show was professionally done and to see the Fire Service’s inside of the story and not the “news” version that we have seen numerous times. I was very pleased with the filming by the two brothers who kept their attention on the roles of the firefighters and not getting caught up in the horrific scenes they could have taped.”
