Two-Alarm Tulsa (OK) Apartment Fire Displaces About 100

A fire destroyed an entire building at a Tulsa (OK) apartment complex, displacing about 100 residents.

Approximately 60 firefighters responded to the Tuesday incident, according to a report in the Tulsa World (http://bit.ly/uuYS9X), which was reported around 11:35 a.m. One firefighter suffered minor injuries when the ceiling collapsed on him; he was transported as a precaution and released later that day.

The entire roof of the building collapsed, causing extensive damage to the third and second floors of the building. A resident expressed amazement that all occupants were able to make it out to safety.
