Two AZ Firefighters Hospitalized After Car Crash

According to a report from ABC15, two members of the Scottsdale (AZ) Fire Department (SFD) have been hospitalized after a tree fell on their apparatus when another car crashed into the tree Sunday evening near 96th Street and Shea Boulevard.

SFD officials said the fire truck was returning to the station when a branch fell onto it.

The two firefighters were transported to the hospital. Four other people were evaluated on scene but were not hospitalized.

Traffic restrictions were implemented in the area while the crash is being investigated.

All injuries were considered non-life-threatening, said officials.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
