Two people are dead after a house went up in flames in southwest Oklahoma City early Monday morning, reports kfor.com.
This isn’t the first time firefighters were called to this home near S.W. 40th and Broadway; there was another fire there on Jan. 6.
Official say this was supposed to be a vacant house and there are no utilities hooked up to the house. Now, they are trying to figure out who is responsible for the home..
“We had flames coming out of every window that wasn’t boarded up,” said Battalion Chief Greg Lindsay, with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.
Just two weeks ago, crews were at this same address to put out a different fire.
“The last fire report early January, they tried to contact the property owner and they couldn’t. The property was left unsecured,” said District Chief Mike Paschal, with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.
