Two Dead in Fair Lawn (NJ) Group Home Fire

Two women died Tuesday in a fire at a group home in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.

NJ.com reported that a police officer and two other females were also injured in the fire at a home operated by the Alliance Against Homelessness of Bergen County. A Fair Lawn police officer suffered a leg injury trying to rescue a woman from the burning building.

The fire, which broke out just after midnight, destroyed the second floor of the home, the report said.
