Two Dead in NC House Fire

Wilmington (NC) –  Two people died in a house fire in Wilmington on Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

A fire broke out at a home in the 1900 block of Lingo Avenue around 5:30 a.m. Officials say two people were pronounced dead at the scene and one person was unaccounted for. Three others escaped from the single-story home and were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
