Two Firefighters Hurt in Early Morning Fire in Monrovia (AL) That Left Three Dead

An early morning house fire in Monrovia killed three people, believed to be members of the family that occupied the home,

Monrovia Volunteer Fire-Rescue was called to the house on Forest Brook Drive near Nance Road around 6 a.m. Tuesday and arrived to find the residence fully engulfed in flames, Fox 54 reports. The bodies of the victims were located inside the home.

Two firefighters from Monrovia Fire and Rescue were injured when the second floor of the home collapsed during the fire. They are expected to be OK.

The Madison County Coroner’s Office has said the victims’ identities will be confirmed through autopsies, which will also help determine their exact causes of death.
