Two Firefighters Injured in Cherry Hills Village (CO) House Fire

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a house fire in Cherry Hills Village on Saturday afternoon, reports The Denver Post (http://dpo.st/1LU5O2K)

South Metro Fire Rescue responded to Sedgwick Drive in Cherry Hills Village just after 1 p.m. after reports of visible smoke and a house on fire, said South Metro spokesman Eric Hurst.

The fire took about an hour to bring under control and caused significant damage to the house.

Hurst said it was unclear how the firefighters became injured or what their injuries were. He added that there were no other injuries in connection with the fire.
