Two Found Dead After Raging MD House Fire

According to a report from WUSA9, the Prince George’s County (MD) Fire/EMS Department discovered two people dead in a raging house fire early Friday morning.

Fire crews responded to the 5500 block of Ruxton Drive in Lanham just before 1:50 a.m. On arrival, firefighters found the two-story, split-foyer home engulfed.

After working to extinguish the flames, search crews found two adults dead inside the home. 

Fire investigators are still working to determine the cause of the incident. It is unclear whether the home had a working smoke alarm.
