Two Killed, 10 Injured in Cincinnati Fire

A fire in a thee-family home on Summit Avenue has left two people dead and ten others injured, according to Fox 19.

The fire broke out about 1 p.m. Saturday. Cincinnati Interim Fire Chief Matt Flagler confirmed that firefighters arrived within four minutes of receiving the call.

Upon arrival, they encountered intense flames and several victims attempting to escape the burning structure—some even jumping from the building to reach safety.

“Our firefighters mounted a very aggressive attack to try to get in there and make sure we had everybody accounted for,” Flagler told Fox 19. Despite their efforts, two people—a child and an adult—lost their lives in the fire.

The ten injured individuals, ranging in age from three months to their mid-40s, were transported to the hospital.
