Two Killed in Rochester House Fire

Two people died in a house fire early Saturday morning in Rochester (NY). Neighbors called 911 around 1 a.m. and crews arrived on the scene minutes later to find heavy fire visible throughout the first floor, reports Rochester YNN (http://bit.ly/JmpQI5).

A fire chief told the news outlet that crews were able to make an aggressive interior attack. The entire first floor was heavily involved in fire. They were not able to make their way to the second floor. Later, the bodies of a male and female were discovered in the same room on the second floor., reports the Democrat and Chronicle (http://on.rocne.ws/Ic1awo).

This marks the second fatal fire the Rochester Fire Department has reported to since mid-February. Previously, four sibling were killed in a house fire. Their mother has been accused of setting that fire and has been charged with arson and four counts of manslaughter.
