On arrival, BFD crews found heavy fire coming from the first floor of the home. BFD Chief Tim Barrett said gaining access to the street was made more difficult by crowds gathering for a party in the area.

BFD evacuated residents from the home. Barrett also said it was unclear if there were any pets inside the home.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
