Two South Carolina Firefighters Burned Responding to Fire

Officials with the Dillon County Fire Department say two firefighters were injured responding to a fire Sunday afternoon, reports wbtw.com (http://tinyurl.com/jp26ogp)

Firefighters say crews responded around 2:00pm to a fire on Calm Street in Latta. Two firefighters were injured responding to the fire, according to the fire department.

Officials say one firefighter had minor burns and another had first and second degree burns. They were taken to an area hospital.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
