Two Suffer Burns in FL Mobile Home Fire

According to a report from LOCAL10, Davie (FL) Fire Rescue (DFR) crews responded to a mobile home fire just before 3 a.m. Monday morning.

DFR officials confirmed that 10 units responded to the 8600 block of Southwest 18th Court.

Two homeowners who were inside at the time suffered burn injuries and were rushed to Broward Health Medical Center. Both victims are expected to recover.

Officials said that, after determining the mobile home was empty, they began a defensive attack from each side and quickly extinguished the fire. DFR crews then stayed on scene for several hours to monitor for hot spots.

The cause of the incident is now under investigation.
