Police say workers were 40 feet in the air in lift trucks removing asbestos from the old Bethlehem Steel building when it collapsed, reports CBS Baltimore (http://cbsloc.al/1hvLV3J).
Workers say half of the building had already been torn down, and they were working on the other section.
The workers were able to get some of the injured out of the building. Those who were trapped were rescued by first responders.
In total, nine people were injured, some of them critical. Others were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
DeQuandre Newell and John Hawthorne have been discharged from Shock Trauma. Troy Minor and Deondrick Ross remain in critical condition.
