TX Firefighters Investigating Church Fire That Spread to Home, Restaurant

According to a report from NBCDFW, an investigation is now underway in McKinney, Texas, after a large three-alarm fire that destroyed a church and spread to a home and fast food restaurant just after midnight on North McDonald Street Sunday night.



McKinney Fire Department (MFD) crews first began attacking the flames at the church on Wilcox. Multiple nearby homes were evacuated before the fire spread to a nearby home. Not long after the evacuations, the fire spread to a nearby restaurant.

After the third alarm was called, MFD firefighters received assistance from the towns of Anna, Melissa, Plano, Fairview, Princeton, Frisco, Lowery Crossing, Weston, Allen, and Westminster.
