VA Elementary School Fire Ruled Arson

Colonial Beach (VA) – Virginia State Police have determined that a former Colonial Beach Elementary School was burnt down by an arsonist.

On January 5 at around 4 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of Douglas Avenue to investigate the fire. The flames completely destroyed the vacant, condemned structure.

A preliminary investigation shows that the fire appears to have started in the interior of the building.
