Botetourt County (VA) – A Roanoke City firefighter is in jail after being arrested. Botetourt County Sheriff Ronnie Sprinkle says David Bocock, 46, was arrested at his home in Roanoke County with help from the U.S. Marshall’s Service. Bocock is charged with one count of forcible sodomy, the victim being a minor.
According to Botetourt County Juvenile and Domestic Relations court, David Allen Bocock was arraigned Wednesday morning on one count of forcible sodomy.
WSLS 10 was in the court room as the arraignment happened over video conference. According to information presented in court, the incident happened between June and September 2012. Bocock has retained his own lawyer. The judge did not set another hearing or bail. He is currently being held in the Botetourt County Jail.
