UPDATE:
Bronx (NY) – At least eight firefighters sustained minor injuries as crews attempted to get a handle on a raging three-alarm blaze that tore though a home in the Bronx on Tuesday morning, officials say.
The fire broke out at the home on East 232nd Street near the borders of the Wakefield and Edenwald neighborhoods at about 8:30 a.m., according to fire officials.
Overhead photos from the scene shows flames and smoke pouring from the windows of the rowhouse. Several firefighters are at the scene dousing the heavily damaged structure.
It’s not clear if the fire had been brought under control.
