Enfield (CT) – A community in Enfield gathered Sunday night to remember four lives lost in a devastating house fire. Friends and family gathered for a memorial to honor the lives of David Cygan, Orsie Handfield, Cathy Armes and Joshua Johnson.

All four were killed two weeks ago after their home on Spring Street. The gathering happened at the corner of Spring and South streets.

Many held flickering candles against a cold night breeze. One of the survivors who was hospitalized as a result of the fire was there, which many there called an encouraging sign.

A family friend who was also there said the event meant a lot to everyone involved.
