Ashland (VA) (WWBT) – An Ashland woman, 79-year-old Margaret Fontaine, has died after she was pulled from a burning house Tuesday morning.
The fire started around 6 a.m. in the 12000 block of Cheroy Road. An off-duty Henrico firefighter pulled an elderly woman from the home. The victim was rushed to VCU Medical Center.
According to the victim’s family, Fontaine died at around 10 a.m.
