Acting Chief of KY Fire Department Dies of COVID-19

The acting chief of the Zoneton Fire Protection District in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, has passed away on account of complications from the coronavirus, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.

Acting Chief Garry Key, 70, developed COVID-19 while on-duty from attending mandated fire department meetings and other fire department functions. He passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from the virus.
