A South Carolina firefighter suffered a medical emergency while at a crash site Sunday afternoon.
WJCL reported that Firefighter Stuart Hardy remained in critical condition Monday night.
The Burton Fire District released a statement Monday night saying that he is responding to treatments, and that a fund has been set up for him and his family.
WTOC reported that firefighters responded to a call about a motor vehicle accident in the Pinewood district of Beaufort around noon when Hardy, 31, fell ill.
