PA Firefighter Dies After Falling Ill

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter William Norman Franck, 81, of the Willow Street Fire Company on May 12, 2019.

On May 12, 2019, Firefighter William N. Franck was performing scene safety at a motor vehicle accident.  While at the accident, he suffered a CVA.  He was immediately taken to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA, where he passed away a short time later.
