Photos: Indy Firefighters Battle Warehouse Fire

Indianapolis firefighters were kept busy with a number of calls last week, including this fire Monday, October 28, at a single-story warehouse.

Nineteen Indianapolis Fire Department units responded to this fire at the 20,000-square-foot warehouse. There were reports of hazardous materials inside the building but not occupants. Firefighters operated defensively with one member sustaining a back injury.

Among the products inside the structure were collectible cars, roofing materials, paint, diesel fuel, gasoline, propane tanks, and ammunition. The Marion County Health Department was dispatched to the scene for run off from hazardous materials inside structure.
