OHATCHEE, Alabama (February 18, 2025) — Louis Carpentier, Executive Chairman of INNOTEX, is pleased to announce the appointment of Erick Bellefleur as Chief Executive Officer of the company following the retirement of Claude Barbeau in April 2025.
Bellefleur has more than 30 years of experience in general management, strategic planning, and business development, with a strong focus on driving growth and innovation in the industrial manufacturing sector. He most recently served as Senior Vice-President of Michelin’s off-road business and CEO of Camso Inc, a Quebec-based off-road tire and rubber track producer. Bellefleur’s experience spans across manufacturing, marketing, R&D, supply chain, B2B sales, and large-scale M&A. He has a proven track record of transforming businesses through operational efficiency, strategic growth, and customer-focused initiatives.
“We are excited to have Erick on board to lead INNOTEX into the company’s next stage of significant growth. He came from organizations with similar corporate values and systems as INNOTEX. He is a charismatic leader and a team player, I very much looking forward to working with Erick,” said Louis.
“INNOTEX has proven its ability to innovate and adapt in the Fire and Rescue industry through its people that hold a passion towards its customers. I’m honored to lead this team into a bright future.” said Erick.
Claude Barbeau added “It has been an incredible honor to lead INNOTEX over the past 10 years. This exceptional company has a bright future ahead, and I look forward to spending more time with my family, traveling, and continue to support INNOTEX. I want to sincerely thank all the colleagues I have had the privilege to work with and lead over the years—none of my accomplishments would have been possible without them. A special thanks to all the employees who, with remarkable skill and dedication, craft our products every single day.”
Louis further noted, “Erick is starting on February 18, 2025 and will work together with Claude to transition to this next stage of leadership for INNOTEX. On behalf of the entire INNOTEX team, I’d like to thank Claude for his significant contributions to INNOTEX over the past 10 years. Claude has, among other thing, elevated innovation at INNOTEX by introducing flagship products and leading a production overhaul that drove sustained growth. We wish his well-earned retirement is as rewarding and satisfying as his career.”
