When disaster strikes, it takes a community to rise to the challenge. We are proud to recognize the incredible companies that have stepped up to provide essential supplies, equipment, and resources to support the brave firefighters responding to the recent Los Angeles wildfires.

Their generosity has made a real impact, ensuring that our first responders have what they need to stay safe and protect our communities. Below, you’ll find stories from the companies that have played a vital role in this mission.

Council Fire 1886 Council Tool Co.

The Council Tool Co./Council Fire: At Council Tool, we’ve been proud to stand with the firefighting community, especially during the recent devastating fires in California. When our dealers tell us L.A. County (CA) Fire needs tools, we respond quickly—ramping up production and expediting orders to ensure firefighters have the equipment they need when they need it.

We also listen. Wildland firefighters once crafted their own “Rhino Tools” from shovels. When regulations changed, we acted, putting a version into production to meet their needs.

It’s our honor to serve those who protect us all.

Westnet

Westnet, LLC: Westnet Public Safety has proudly stepped up to support the courageous firefighters battling the devastating wildfires in Southern California. Being location in Southern California ourselves, and having worked with many of these departments as the provider of their mission-critical station alerting system, we recognize the immense challenges and relentless demands these heroes face. We’ve taken proactive steps to ensure they have the nourishment and support they need to stay strong on the frontlines.

Our efforts began with delivering healthy beverages and high-protein snacks directly to fire stations actively responding to the fires. These essential supplies were chosen to provide hydration and sustained energy during grueling shifts. Understanding the critical nature of their work, we’ve also taken the initiative to serve lunch and dinner at the rally point, feeding hundreds of firefighters who gather there to regroup and prepare for their missions. Each meal is thoughtfully prepared to meet the physical demands of their efforts, while also offering a moment of comfort amidst the chaos.

Beyond providing meals and supplies, Westnet continues to play a vital role as a direct point of contact with those coordinating relief efforts. Our team works closely with leadership to identify evolving needs and ensure resources are allocated effectively. This ongoing collaboration underscores our commitment to being a reliable partner in this fight.

Westnet’s contributions are driven by our deep gratitude and respect for these brave individuals risking their lives to protect our communities. While the fires continue to burn, so does our resolve to support the firefighters in any way we can. Whether it’s through a meal, a helping hand, or simply showing up when they need us most, we are honored to stand with them in support. Together, we remain steadfast in our commitment to doing what we can to help hold up those who answer the call to serve and protect.
