A New Cure for Insomnia
A new cure for insomnia, but one which is not recommended bywater works men and property owners, was uncovered in Kentucky by a committee on public information. As a means of wasting water it has many points of advantage over the annual method of preventing freezing of water pipes by allowing the water to flow all night.
A heavy waste of water was traced to an apartment tenant who was troubled by insomnia. He kept the faucet flowing full head in the bath tub every night because the running water was the only thing that lulled him to sleep. There is no doubt that when the owner of the building received the bill for water used, the figures made him very much awake and active.
