American-La France Apparatus at the Exposition

In the last week’s issue of FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING an item, received in its California correspondence, referred to the arrival of some motor apparatus for the Panama Exposition grounds and that the American-La France Company is giving the exposition the use of the apparatus free of cost as a working exhibit. The fact is, as was shown in the page advertisement of the company on the back cover of this journal, that the Bahama-Pacific Exposition Company selected the AmericanLa France motor apparatus for the entire equipment of the Exposition fire protection system and awarded the American-La France C ompany the sole and exclusive contract for such equipment, paying a substantial sum for the apparatus, which includes in all, at this time, eleven pieces.
