An Electric Searchlight
The Kenyon “Fire Chief” portable searchlight is peculiarly adapted for the use of fire department chiefs in searching remote corners of darkened buildings. It can be handled by any person by reason of its simplicity, lightness in weight and absolute safety. There is nothing cumbersome about it. You can carry it in either hand, use at perfect will and with the greatest ease. It is therefore an electric searchlight for universal usage.
The inference might he drawn that with such an effective searchlight its mechanism must bo intricate and necessitate a thorough knowledge of electricity. Not so with the “Kenyon,” for the battery can he replenished at leisure, if using “dry” cells. In using “lead’’ cells it can be recharged from any direct current lighting circuit. The Kenyon “Fire Chief” searchlight is waterproof—that is another feature of this remarkable searchlight. There is no possible danger of its becoming extinguished, or interfered with in the slightest degree, on account of rain, dampness or water.
