Annual Convention of Massachusetts State Firemen’s Association
The Fortieth Annual Convention of the Massachusetts State Firemen’s Association will be held in Worcester, Mass., September 17, 18 and 19. The first session will be called to order by President William E. Cade, at 2:30 p. m., Wednesday, September 17, in the Knights of Columbus Building. Elm street. In selecting Worcester for the coming convention, the Board of Directors has chosen a city which not only was the scene of two of the most successful conventions the association ever enjoyed, the 10th and 27th conventions of 1889 and 1906, but which is one of the most attractive and flourishing of the East. The Board of Directors have arranged a program which contains undoubtedly the finest list of speakers that have ever appeared before the Association. The firemen of Worcester have always especially lauded the association, as is evidenced by the membership list, and no efforts will be spared to welcome the members and to make the convention an enjoyable one from every point of view. The headquarters will be at the Bancroft Hotel. Active fire companies who are members of this association are entitled to send two delegates to attend convention. Delegates and members who have not received credentials can procure them by addressing the secretary. For any other information write to the secretary, D. Arthur Burt, 626 Old South Building, Boston, Mass.
