ANNUAL MEETING OF THE PITTSBURG METER MEN.
Following the annual custom of the Pittsburg Meter company, its sales force assembed recently at the home office, the sessions being held on the 3rd, 4th and 5th instant. Reports were received from the various salesmen and the territories they represent, plans and policies for the coming year were discussed and adopted, and a considerable amount of routine business was transacted. The reports of the representatives showed that business has been good during the past year, and that the prospects for future business are very bright. The sales of the Keystone water meter had increased more than fifty per cent, over those of the previous year in the United States alone, not taking into account a large number sold for export to various foreign countries. The convention terminated by a banquet at the Monongahela club on Friday the 5th instant, tendered to the visiting salesmen by the management of the company. In viewof the highly successful year just closed, everyone was in a particularly happy mood, and occasion was taken by the officers and salesmen present to tender mutual congratulations on the result of the last year’s work and to extend best wishes for another year of prosperity.
