ASBURY PARK’S FIRE LOSSES.
According to the annual report of Fire Chief Scott, the fire loss at Asbury Park, N. J., since June 1, 1900, has amounted to $57,000. Of this amount $30,000 must be charged to the disastrous Opera house conflagration, The balance is distributed among eight fires. The Park now has 125 active firemen, apportioned as follows: Hook and ladder company No. 1, twenty-two; Wesley engine and hose company No. 1, forty; Neptune engine company No.2, forty-four; A.R. Cook hose company No. 8, nineteen.
