C. J. Cross Accepts Important Agencies.
Announcement was made in this journal last week of the important agencies which C. J. Cross has accepted and in this issue will be found an advertisement of the “Dayton Airless” Tire, one of these agencies. Until recently he was the general manager of the American-La France Fire Engine Company and when he announced recently that he contemplated going back into the fire apparatus business he most emphatically stated he would not offer anything for sale which he did not think was the very best of its kind. Mr. Cross therefore undertook exploiting the Dayton Airless Tire for fire apparatus and all pleasme vehicles, also the Robinson line of motor pumping and chemical fire apparatus. In view of his ambition to represent nothing hut the best, it is complimentary to both of these concerns that he has put his stamp of approval on them. Mr. Cross has had a great many years’ experience in the manufacture and sale of fire apparatus and is a man of marked ability in the fire apparatus field. This experience will no doubt prove successful and enable him to make good his promises to the public to offer none hut the best.
